Hotel Cipriani Offers an Opera Program

Its opera program this year includes Rachmaninov's Francesa da Rimini on March 16th; Verdi La Traviata on April 20th; Wagner's Siegfried, June 14th, and many more. Aside from opera, the many offerings also include English afternoon tea, from April 4-9, guided and led by Michael Bentley, a former manager at Claridge's, London, under the supervision of the Dowager Duchess of Bedford. The Cipriani, indeed, has a history of aristocracy: it was launched in 1958 by barman turned restaurateur Commendator Giuseppe Cipriani who was forced.
