The latest hotel announced will be located in a former car showroom in Wandsworth, South London (rendering above.) The 122-room hotel will have a restaurant, gym, car park and associated business facilities. There is no hotel name and no opening date yet but we’ll bring you more details once we have them.Something you can also expect to see more of in London as the 2012 Olympics get closer are Hotel Renovations. And it looks like Grosvenor House hotel could be next.

The five-star hotel has just been sold for a whopping £470 million to an Indian business group. The group are planning to add further restaurants, a nightclub and a business centre to the property which was only recently renovated in 2008.

We stayed at the hotel last year and we weren’t overly impressed. Let's just hope they sort out the WiFi in rooms, surely it should be standard in five-star hotels now.
