If you ever planned on visiting Denmark with your children, then a visit to the small ‘bricked’ city within a city is a must.   I am talking about the famous Legoland.

Created as a theme park with a multitude of attractions, Legoland’s main attraction however, is the centerpiece - ‘Miniland’ – a small city built literally, with millions of toy Lego blocks – some 42 million, to be concise. It contains replicas of many famous buildings of various European cities.  

From Venice’s canals to Germany’s Reichstag, and from Munich’s airport to Netherlands’ windmills, it is brimming with well-known replicas of many of Europe’s mainland tourist attractions.  

Conceived and developed initially in Denmark, the home of Lego toy bricks, the theme park is now a chain with branch parks in London, UK; South Bavaria, Germany; and California, USA. The parent park in Denmark is however, the biggest of them all.
