One of the best ways of touring England is by road. Though, there are many obstacles on the road, metaphorically speaking, but that part of the enjoyment.
Here are some tips to avoid those:
- If you plan to drive yourself, then get an automatic car, as manual can be too tiring.
- Spend few pounds – something like 10 pounds for a map. It will come in pretty handy.
- Make sure you have insurance cover and do not leave any valuables in the car.
- While passing through small villages, keep a look out for speed and other signs
- Always pay special attention where you park your car. Parking wardens are in ‘plentiful’ supply. You do not want to spend all your traveling money paying parking fines.
- And most importantly, always allow for an hour or so extra time, while traveling across the countryside, as there would often be slow areas, like that mentioned above.
