In the "Briggs & Stratton’s Best Parks" competition, 20 gardens in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Great Britain were evaluated. The comparatively new Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, with their innovative and modern direction, took 6th place among Europe’s most beautiful gardens.

This award is a very special honour, as Trauttmansdorff stood out among many historic gardens distinguished by centuries-old architecture and representing important accomplishments of past epochs as garden monuments.
